The History of the KOGKOH
The KOGKOH had its beginning as a prison ministry at Carver Missionary Baptist Church of Los Angeles, California. By the approval of Senior Pastor Richard Stubbs and the Board of Deacons. The Ministry first began to operate in 1991 in South Central Los Angeles, California. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3: 16, NKJV), (Matthew 25: 34 – 40, NKJV). The ministry grew and became a functioning Auxiliary of the Church. Through the movement of the Holy Spirit of God, souls were saved, there were inmates regenerated, and a measurable reduction in the recidivism rate of inmates as well. To God be the glory.
